The short version

School Year Calendar reads publicly published US school-district academic calendars, and lets you upload your own school's schedule, and sells a one-time $10 download of those dates as a calendar file you can add to your phone. Every date is free to read and check before you pay. Use the dates as a helpful copy, not as the official record, and always confirm against your school's official calendar.

Who we are

This website, schoolyearcalendar.com, is operated by Whetstone Group LLC (“School Year Calendar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What we offer

We take school-district academic calendars that are already published in public (for example, a district posts its calendar PDF on its website) and turn the dates into a calendar file in the .ics format. That file works with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Outlook. You can also upload your own school's calendar and we will read the dates from it.

Reading and checking the dates on our pages is free. The download is a one-time $10 purchase for that school year. There is no account, no subscription, and nothing to install.

Please check the dates first (accuracy)

This matters, so we are putting it plainly. Our calendars are read automatically by AI software from public sources. AI can make mistakes. A date may be wrong, missing, or out of date, and a school can change its calendar after we read it. You must verify every date against your school's official calendar before you rely on it.

School Year Calendar is not responsible for missed school days, scheduling errors, missed appointments, or any other problem that comes from relying on the dates we provide. The dates are offered as a convenient copy of public information, not as the official school record. That is exactly why we show you every date for free before you ever pay.

School Year Calendar is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to any school, school district, or government body.

If you upload your own calendar

When you upload a school calendar PDF or photo, you confirm that you have the right to upload it. We use your uploaded file only to read the dates and build your calendar file. We do not use it for anything else. See our Privacy Policy for how uploads are handled.

Price and payment

The price is $10, charged one time, for a single school year's download. We do not charge a subscription and we do not store your card details. Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. A charge may show up on your statement as “Whetstone Group LLC.”

Refunds

All sales are final and purchases are non-refundable. Because every date is free to preview and check before you buy, you can confirm the whole year is correct before you pay. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

The site is provided “as is”

We work hard to keep the dates accurate and the site running, but we provide everything “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that every date will be correct.

Limit on our liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the site or a purchase is limited to the amount you actually paid us (at most, the $10 for the download). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as a missed day or a missed appointment.

Copyright and use of the site

Calendar dates are facts, and facts are not protected by copyright. The way we compile, design, present, and deliver the calendars, along with the site's text, layout, and software, is © 2026 Whetstone Group LLC. Please do not scrape, copy, resell, or republish the compiled data, the calendar files, or the site itself.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. The current version is effective June 3, 2026. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
